![]() Outrageous it was, "blowing everybody's minds" as we used to say. Strange "jazz chords," startling beat, meter, and key changes, intense soul and odd lyrics. Some people didn't know quite what to make of it, but musicians were impressed, standing around with their jaws sagging. |
![]() After Juggernaut broke up, Dan started The Stars in the early seventies, with his brother Tim on drums. This may or may not be a picture of that. |
![]() Then we had Vizzion, a dynamic and much more tuneful thing than Juggernaut. |

Unco
Funki, from the same gig. |
The dynamic Mr. Dan likes to conduct his players and get into it. This is an ending chord. |
He also has a really big mouth and likes to construct cool little organ housings for his various keyboards. |
Dan grooving with his classic 1938 Hammond BC, which he has played his entire career. The thing is amazing: it has deep killer bass, and it pretty much plays Dan Bonow Musik by itself. |
