DAN BONOW is UNKO FUNKI – Singer songwriter Hammond Organ player. Dan’s Band, “UNKO FUNKi” based in Kauai, Hawaii, plays a mix of soul/funk/jazz with a “one world” feel. Dan Bonow’s first band “the Bushmen” was in Ibadan, Nigeria in the mid 60’s, followed by award winning bands in Seattle.

Jimi Hendrix dedicated a song to the Juggernaut, one of UNKO FUNKI’s original concert/dance bands. He toured as organ player with Texas bluesman Albert Collins and reggaeicon apple Gabriel (founder of Israel Vibrations) he has toured all over North America Hawaii and Africa. dedicating his music to the advancement of love and joy on the dancefloor to people of all countries.

Bonow is humbled to continue his International career with the 2017 release of “NOW!” which continues a tradition of showcasing exciting young talent. Watch for “LIVE” and more UNKO FUNKI releases this year.
